Checks
- Vague link text like click here
- Link text too long or too short
- Page jumps as images load
- Search box too small
- Long stretches of bold or italic text
- Menu names differ between pages
- No site icon in browser tab
- Phone number cannot be tapped to call
- No way to contact you found
- Home screen icon or app file missing
- Pasting blocked in a form field
Findings
- Whole paragraphs in bold or italic, or no site icon
- No web app manifest or touch icon for saving the site to a phone's home screen
- Link text that says nothing, runs too long or names the same page two ways
- No page of the site offers a way to get in touch
- A form field refuses pasted text
- A phone number on the page is not a tel link
- The search field is too narrow to show a normal query
- An image has no width and height, so the page may jump when it loads
