A rich result shows price, rating, dates or steps directly in search results. Markup that lacks a required property is treated as if it were not there.

What to do

Add the property to the markup, with the same value the visitor sees on the page.

  • Recommended structured data fields missing

How to fix it

Add the property where the markup is generated

  1. Find what prints the [item type] markup: the theme, a plugin or hand-written code.
  2. Add "[property]" and fill it from the same field that is shown on the page.
  3. Do not add a property the page has no visible information for. Markup must describe what the visitor can see.
