How to fix it

Remove the second description

  1. View the source of [url] and search for name="description". Note what surrounds each tag: a comment or a nearby tag often names the plugin or theme that printed it.
  2. Switch off the description in one of the two sources: theme, plugin or tag manager.
  3. Keep the one that is filled from the page's own field.

Print one meta description in the head

  1. Fill the content from a field of the page itself, not from a site-wide default.
