QA finding
A score fell since the last crawl
QA Warning Severity: Medium
Part of the audit Scores and benchmarks. Finding id: qa.scoreDropped.
What it costs you
A falling score means new findings since the last crawl, usually from one release or one template change. Left alone they reach every page of that template.
What to do
Open the findings of the rule named as the main cause and fix them at their template.
What it checks
- Score for the whole site
- Score for each page type
- Score for each group of pages
How to fix it
Read the formula change
- Open the change notes of formula version [formula version].
- Check which findings count differently. Treat this crawl as the new starting point for the trend.
How to check: The next crawl uses the same formula version, so its score can be compared with this one.
Trace the drop to its findings
- Open the findings of [top cause] that are new since the last crawl.
- Check which template_id they share and what changed in that template.
- Fix the template and recheck one of its pages.
How to check: After the next crawl the score is back at or above [previous score].
