A form loses what the visitor typed

What it costs you

The visitor fills in the form, presses send and believes it worked, but the message, order or request never reaches you. Each one is a lost lead or customer, and you do not know it happened.

What to do

Repair the form, then send a test submission and check that it arrives.

How to fix it

Name the fields

    Repair the form target

    1. Find where the form [form selector] gets its action: the form block or plugin settings in the CMS, or the template.
    2. Set the action to the address of a working handler on the live site, or a form service you use.
    3. Send a test submission from [page url] and check that it arrives.

    How to check: The test submission arrives, and this rule finds nothing for the form.
